Job description

The Testing Team is a new team that forms part of a broader issuance support function within the Structured Product’s (SRP) business at Delta Capita, supporting internal and external clients, in the testing of platform functionalities that are required for the issuance of cross-asset structured products. The Testing team is responsible for ensuring that there is comprehensive testing for each of the services supported by the platform and provides control to any development released into the different platform environments.

Considering the internal and external demands, we are seeking to expand our Testing team with this hire.

The successful candidate will join an active team to assist in all aspects of SRP platform inspire testing.

Job requirements

  • Work with the business and the platform teams to understand the functionality requirement that need testing.

  • Elaborate test plans and validate these with the service areas; identify and analyze impact of the functionality to be tested with other services

  • Create, maintain and run / execute tests cases based on the requirements

  • Follow up with the appropriate channels to raise any issues or flag any items found during the testing

  • While testing, identify potential items for improvement, related to the specific functionality to be tested or any functionality on the platform

  • Keep logs of errors, improvements found during testing

  • Maintain up to date summaries of testing status to be shared with different stakeholders. Tracking and Reporting data information via Excel or Agile / Jira.

  • Document test plans, test cases and results.

  • Set up calls to discuss results and obtain final sign offs required to release on the different environments

  • Run regression testing, analyze results and coordinate with the platform and / or transform teams any issues / fixes required. Keep a log of results

  • Work closely with platform and transform teams to coordinate releases on the different environments

  • Work with service delivery and transform teams to understand any rules (i.e. blockers and /or permitted features) that need to be implemented in the platform. Once the rules are determined, set them up, test them and collate respective sign offs. Maintain logs of these rules, track status and sign offs.

  • Participate in ad hoc projects aimed to improve efficiency of the team

  • The successful candidate would be expected to develop a good knowledge and understanding of our client’s internal policies and procedures, risk thresholds, key stakeholders, systems and technology.

    Qualifications and Experience:

2-4 years of experience in a work environment. Desired but not essential, derivatives or structured products experience

Experience on previous analytical roles

Graduate degree in business administration, science or math degree or similar

  • Comfortable working under time pressure and conscientious about keeping to deadlines, able to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to determine and / or work with management to determine priorities

  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge, and good working knowledge of other MS applications

Desirable skills:

Experience on Structured Products or Derivatives

Experience on testing different functionalities on systems / platforms
