Technical Consultant/ Senior Technical Consultant – AVP/VP

Role Summary

This is a great opportunity to join our dynamic business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. This specific role is within the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) technology transformation area (Client Onboarding, Maintenance, Offboarding). This role requires hands on experience and knowledge with technical analysis, software design & implementation, configurations, deployments, release control in line with IT strategy and enterprise technical standards.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Consultant/Senior Technical Consultant to join our team and support software release activities. You will work directly with our technical lead, project manager, developers, testers, and other configuration specialists, supporting implementation ensuring Delta Capita (DC) delivers to the highest standards. This is to configure and customise our key workflow software to the requirements of the client/s.

This is to join an existing team that develops and implements software that is focused on providing Client Onboarding and KYC solutions to financial institutions, with complex clients and products.

The Role and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have a clear understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This role does not require a full-stack developer, but it does require someone who understands development processes, dependencies, and what it takes to bring a release from planning to deployment.

The consultant will work closely with our clients, so excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written) are essential. You will also contribute to defining, documenting, and validating business requirements and translating them into actionable functional specifications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support and coordinate software releases

  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to gather and clarify requirements

  • Collaborate with clients on Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

  • Translate business needs into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)

  • Participate in end-to-end software lifecycle activities (analysis, design, testing, deployment)

  • Provide technical and functional input during project planning and scoping

  • Preparing configuration release packages for customers based on BRDs and FSDs.

Job requirements

As an experienced Consultant, you will have:

  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript

  • Basic understanding of Java or other object-oriented programming (enough to read and understand code logic)

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and database relationships

  • Experience working with Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

  • Ability to create Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) based on client input

  • Experience working in client-facing roles

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proven track record as a business analyst or consultant.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

This is a permanent full-time position located in Poland. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
