Technical / Data Business Analyst-Markets Treasury (VP)

Role Purpose

Markets Treasury trades Money Market, FX, Fixed Income securities and derivative products.

The role is for a BA, working closely with the Intraday Liquidity team, including its Global Head, with the primary responsibility for performing business analyst tasks. Hands on in strong documentation skills and being comfortable in interpreting business requirements into technical deliverables. This aspect of the role is very important as the candidate will need to be familiar with cash management, intraday liquidity and Treasury.

This will include having a good understanding of how cash forecast projections and real time monitoring of cash are managed within a Bank. Candidate has to be comfortable with managing and interpreting all types of data, as well as being self-sufficient and being able to operate in a team environment.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Degree level education preferably with a professional qualification and with substantial experience (8 years+) in a markets business or related industries (Banks, Investment Banks, Financial Services).

• Excellent team player with proactive and self-motivated attitude

• Treasury or Cash Management experience with focus on Intraday Liquidity and/or Funding topics

• Familiarity of both payment and security settlement systems

• Familiarity of front to back Financial Markets processes and infrastructure

• Strong background in acting in a business analyst capacity

• Comfortable engaging both verbally and in written form with stakeholders

• Excellent MS Suite product knowledge.
