Join our Data, Technology, Automation and Testing (DTAT) team as a Principal Consultant/Director, where your extensive experience and robust consulting background will be pivotal in shaping innovative solutions for our clients in the financial services sector. With over a decade of experience under your belt and a well-established network of clients, you'll spearhead our endeavors to leverage technology for business transformation.


Your role will be multifaceted, encompassing strategic leadership, client engagement, and technical expertise. Collaborating closely with our dynamic global financial services business, you'll lead a team of skilled professionals, including technical business analysts, to tackle complex technology challenges head-on.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled professionals, including technical business analysts, to tackle complex technology challenges
  • Drive proposals and identify business opportunities within existing and new clients to fuel the growth of our DTAT practice
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing within our technology teams
  • Design and implement high-availability, scalable, and performant systems on cloud platforms
  • Architect and implement cloud-based solutions tailored to diverse business requirements
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Consulting leadership to develop campaigns and respond to RFPs
  • Stay updated with AI technologies and innovative ways of working to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into client projects
  • Building and maintaining deep relationships with key client stakeholders and delivery teams


Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in technology consulting, particularly within financial services or related industries
  • Solid experience in RFPs, commercials and expanding client opportunities 
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, with expertise in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong command over cloud-native application development and deployment practices
  • Advanced understanding of cloud architecture and services
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in cloud development (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams
  • Ability to drive successful outcomes using agile methodologies

This is a permanent full-time position located in London. For this role a valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.


Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
