Role Purpose:

The ideal candidate for this role will be confident working with their peers, respectful when addressing senior stakeholders working as part of a team and will take pride in taking a diligent and thorough approach to work, with a great attitude, willing to learn and with great attention to detail. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Client lifecycle Platform “Goldtier” through meticulous manual testing, automation runs understanding and working within project timelines and delivery deadlines. You will work closely with the Goldtier project team, project manager, client testing and UAT teams along with technology and business stakeholders. You will gain work experience in an analytical role with exposure to KYC onboarding and CLM practise.

Job Description:

The Testing Team forms part of a broader support function within the at Delta Capita, supporting internal and external clients, in the testing of platform functionalities. The Testing team is responsible for ensuring that there is comprehensive testing for each of the services supported by the platform and provides control to any development released into the different platform environments.

Considering the internal and external demands, we are seeking to expand our Testing team with this hire.

The successful candidate will join an active team to assist in all aspects of testing CLM platform Goldtier testing and quality assurance.

The role will include:

  • Work with business analyst, technical consultant and tech teams to understand requirements that need test planning, execution and reporting.
  • Elicit and define test plans and validate these with the PM, delivery and tecg leads, identifying and analyzing impact of Goldtier functionality to be tested
  • Create, maintain and run / execute tests cases, test scenarios and test data based on approved design
  • Follow up and share updates across appropriate channels (development, BA, PM, QA) to raise any defects, issues or flag any items found during the testing
  • While testing, identify potential ways of improvement, related to the specific functionality to be tested or any functionality on the Goldtier platform
  • Keep logs of errors, improvements found during testing
  • Document test strategy, test plans, test cases and execution test results.
  • Set up calls to discuss results and obtain final sign offs required to release changes on the different environments
  • Run regression testing, analyze test results and coordinate with the application and / or technical teams for any issues / fixes required.
  • Document defects in Jira, send feedback on client defects log as deemed fit in line with fix agreed with technical lead, dev lead and BA. Maintain test results artefacts in JIRA, Confluence and shared drives.
  • Work closely with application and technical teams to coordinate on test data and environment readiness
  • Work with delivery and project teams to highlight any risks (i.e. blockers and /or permitted features) that need to be implemented for releasing code drops, patches, and incremental hotfixes. Maintain test/QA risk updates tracker for execution, defects status and QA reporting.
  • Participate in allocated projects and client calls aimed to improve efficiency of the team
  • Maintain up to date test summary of QA status to be shared with different stakeholders internal to organization. Tracking and Reporting defects information via Excel or SDLC/ Agile / Jira.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop a good knowledge and understanding of our client lifecycle application “Goldtier”, our internal policies and procedures, risk thresholds, key stakeholders, systems and technology.

Job requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Equivalent to an AVP with 7-8 years of experience in testing client lifecycle applications. Desired but not essential, Goldtier platform experience.
  • Must have experience of articulating design/Functional specs documents for preparing test plans, test scenarios and test cases (progression and regression).
  • Must have experience in manual and automation testing of different functionalities on systems / platforms.
  • Graduate degree in technology, computers, business administration, science or math or similar discipline.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and in writing.
  • Positive attitude towards the tasks of testing role and any task that will contribute to quality assurance of Goldtier application
  • Experience in diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving / coordinating defects, issues, improvements via JIRA/excel/Confluence in agile or SDLC
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand new tasks / processes
  • A self-starter who is both able to work and collaborate with others and work independently when required
  • Comfortable working under time pressure and conscientious about keeping to deadlines, able to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to determine and / or work with management to determine priorities
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge, and good working knowledge of other MS applications

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of Goldtier or similar client lifecycle/KYC onboarding applications.
