Role Overview:

This role requires a strong hands-on BA to work closely with the TWD Central programme in supporting the programme to deliver a highly complex and large-scale regulatory requirement. They are responsible for supporting analysis of the Day 2 book of work for the PRA TWD regulation.

The BA will work with the PMs (centrally and at the project stream level) and the business lead on documenting x-functional analysis and requirements, process mapping and improvements, solution design support and stakeholder engagement. The role will support delivery by providing a critical link between business functions delivery teams and supporting testing, validation and implementation of solutions.

This is a highly complex and large-scale programme that requires the ability to work independently at pace. This role is integral to enable informed decision-making, driving solution design and aligning the business and regulatory needs across multiple workstreams.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Support the Delivery of the TWD programme

  • Support information gathering, analysis and meaningful documentation where required

  • Coordinate and assist in preparation of robust documentation for the project

  • Assist with the implementation of the projects

  • Provide traceability for decisions made, or advice offered

  • Support each programme workstream and impacted user group in effecting the transition from implementation into Business-As-Usual.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of financial institutions, global markets, trading environments

  • Understanding of Global Treasury especially Liquidity, Capital and

  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of different seniority, diverse cultures & geographical locations

  • Firm grasp of the regulatory context of HSBC/ability to familiarise quickly with the TWD regulation.

  • Knowledge of the wider regulatory context and trends in financial services.

Experience:

  • Worked in a banking environment and brings Treasury or Markets experience

  • Understanding of financial metrics and strong analytical skills

  • Experience in Product Control, Traded Risk, Business Finance, Liquidity or Capital Management would be beneficial

  • Strong attention to detail and being solution oriented.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
