TWD - Business Analyst

The TWD Programme is a complex cross-functional regulatory programme made up of multiple project streams reviewing the Trading Book Wind Down requirements, identifying, recommending and implementing solutions aimed at ensuring that we are meeting the regulatory requirements and building business capabilities.  The BA will support the management of cross-functional outcomes, working with the project change teams, IT teams, senior stakeholders and SMEs to capture requirements, identify improvements and help deliver outcome that align with the programme and organisational goals.  

• Gather, document and analyse business requirements 

• Collaborate with cross functional teams (IT, operations, etc.) 

• Assist in testing, validation and change management   

• Proficient in Python and experienced in managing large datasets 

• Familiar with Agile methodology  

• Ability to work in a global context, recognising variations in context and constraint between countries. 

• Strong drafting and verbal communication skills. 

• Strong Analytical Skills. 

• Can work to demanding deadlines under pressure. 

• Well organised; conducting activities through planning. 

• Can win the trust and confidence of senior stakeholders. 

• Ability to build a reputation for expertise and professionalism amongst key stakeholders, customers and colleagues. 

• Ability to articulate outcomes in a wider business context. 

• Ability to impart knowledge to others, thus facilitating the development of a multi-skilled team. 

• Collaborate with PMs and business leads to document requirements and map processes. 

Experience and Qualifications:

·       Experience of working on a global programme. 

·       Capital Markets, Treasury, Product Control, Traded Risk and Business Finance knowledge is beneficial 

·       Good communicator and the ability to build relationships with desk / trading heads /Risk and Treasury 

·       Any relevant local banking qualifications such as ACIB (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers)- Optional 

·       Knowledge of financial institutions, global markets, trading environments  

·       Understanding of Global Treasury especially Liquidity, Capital and  

·       Ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of different seniority, diverse cultures & geographical locations 

·       Firm grasp of the regulatory context of TWD regulation. 

·       Knowledge of the wider regulatory context and trends in financial services.
