Job description

The TWD Programme is a complex cross-functional regulatory programme made up of multiple project streams reviewing the Trading Book Wind Down requirements, identifying, recommending and implementing solutions aimed at ensuring that we are meeting the regulatory requirements and building business capabilities. The lead PM will support the management of cross-functional outcomes, working with the project change teams and IT. 

Job requirements

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, reporting, risk management, and quality assurance across TWD projects 

  • Manage integrated delivery plans, critical paths, and dependencies 

  • Run programme governance forums (Delivery Working groups, Management Focus)  

  • Ensure alignment with strategy and transformation frameworks 

  • Drive benefits realisation, stakeholder engagement, and change management 

  • Support transition from implementation to BAU 

  • Tracking key milestones and identifying RAID items  

  • Experienced working with IT teams across different functions  

  • Delivery of projects on time, within budget, and aligned to business case 

  • High stakeholder satisfaction and governance reporting quality 

  • Effective risk mitigation and operational control 

  • Uplift in team capability and engagement 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Extensive project management skills and experience of managing large and complex global projects  

  • Experienced in recovery and resolution planning  

  • Good stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing and running project governance Implementation, change management and benefits realisation  

  • Multiple strong examples of the delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes- a driver with bias towards delivery at pace and controlling project outcomes.

  • Strong people manager and broad experience in managing global virtual teams of different cultures 

  • Worked in a banking environment and change projects in a Risk or Front Office function 

  • Implementation, change management and benefits realisation 

  • Experience defining and documenting organisations & business process models 

  • Strong attention to detail and being solution oriented 

  • Building orchestration dashboard tool- preferable   

  • Experience of working on a regulatory global programme 

  • Capital Markets knowledge is beneficial  

  • Risk and Front Office Domain knowledge is required 

  • Good communicator and the ability to build relationships with desk / trading heads /Risk is a must 

  • Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) - Optional  

  • PMP certification and/or Prince2 Practitioner- Optional  

  • Agile practitioner - Optional 

  • Any relevant local banking qualifications such as ACIB (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers)- Optional
