Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
We are seeking a skilled Xceptor Developer to join our growing team. This role involves working with clients to automate, optimise, and enhance data management processes, particularly within trade data environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial institutions, trade data, and SSIs (Standard Settlement Instructions).
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Development: Design, develop, and deploy automated solutions in Xceptor to meet clients' needs within financial institutions, particularly in areas involving trade data, reconciliations, and data validation.
- Process Optimisation: Work closely with stakeholders to identify, define, and optimize data workflows and ensure robust management of SSIs and other trade data points.
- Data Integration: Integrate Xceptor with various systems and data sources, ensuring smooth data exchange and accurate processing of financial information.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for implemented solutions, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- · Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate future upgrades, troubleshooting, and user training.

Skills & Experience
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience with Xceptor software, including configuration, scripting, and process automation.
- Proficiency in working with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Knowledge of API integration and data transformation.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of financial institutions' workflows and requirements, particularly within trade data and SSIs.
- Experience working in areas involving trade finance, reconciliation, and settlement data management is highly desirable.
- Problem-Solving:
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Experience in designing efficient, scalable solutions to handle large datasets and complex data structures.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a financial services or consulting environment.
- Certification or hands-on training in Xceptor.
- Familiarity with Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) and data validation processes
